Euro-Med Monitor's October Newsletter

Many protest movements broke out across the world in October. People are demanding better living standards and an end to corruption. The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor has been closely following demonstrations in the MENA region in October, particularly in Iraq and Lebanon. The right to protest is a fundamental human right, yet authorities have often responded with violence, killing and injuring civilians. Euro-Med Monitor thoroughly documented such incidents and called for greater accountability.
